Seven more manufacturers will be live on the CESABIM database in time for the Hospitality Show starting next week, it was confirmed today.
Classeq, Moorwood Vulcan, Merrychef, Adande, Gamko, Kingspan Environmental Services and S&P Ventilation are all in the process of making BIM models of their equipment available on the database.
The latest additions will bring the total number of manufacturers who are either already on the database, or in the process of producing BIM models in order to join it, to 26.
CESABIM was launched last year as a non-commercial library of BIM models and data for the catering equipment industry.
“The CESABIM database is now accepted as the standard for the catering industry,” stated Keith Warren, director of CESA. “The UK is leading the way with BIM, in terms of the foodservice industry, in Europe and, indeed, the world.”
CESA will be discussing the CESABIM database at the Hospitality Show. Visitors can find out more details at stand 228.
